@EdTechSarahH A4: We are going to have to adapt. The real work is done when we are challenged and it will take real talk to help guide that conversation. I love the new question, "On a scale of 1 - 5, how committed are you to this goal?" This is the work. #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A3: Staying genuinely curious and always assuming we are doing what is best for our students. Asking clarifying questions for students puts them on guard, causing them to think something is wrong, the same happens with adults. We need to normalize genuine inquiry and curiosity.

@EdTechSarahH A1: Invent Improvements will be the most h challenging for me. I struggle with imposter syndrome at times so frankly, I just feel like I don't have many tools to share with my colleagues. I know I do since I'm in this role but I struggle anyway. #FUSDBookStudy #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A2: If the teacher doesn't feel connected to the coach, they are not going to feel safe having those feelings, like anxiety. I think Step 1 in the Improve process is key here. Decompress and feel the feels together so we can find the destination. #FUSDBookStudy #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A1: Step 1! I can see the importance and value of the step, but stopping our work to check in and making sure we are still on track is going to be difficult. I tend to jump in so I know slowing down to check in will be very intentional on my part. #FUSDBookStudy #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A3: Because I love collaborating, my go to is always going to be co-teaching. I am glad he laid out all of the choices, with the pros and cons because I need to make sure I am offering the best option for my coachee, not the one I want to do. #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH My biggest struggle with creating and using lists is that I tend to be detail oriented and write all steps excessively. I worry that's what I'll do with checklists: hold my reader's hand and that's not the way to do this. #FUSDBookStudy #impactcycle #FUSDchat

@EdTechSarahH A1:District normed playbooks would be amazing. Just think about how much we could accomplish if we had established strategies that were part of our unified playbook. Utilizing coaching PLCs to make those powerful instructional moves is a dream. #FUSDBookStudy #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A3: I feel like this rating process helps the teacher take ownership of the coaching process. It also helps to see what worked well and what did not work in the lesson. This leads to a goal that the teacher can create from their reflection. #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH OMGoodness! Reading through this and the research behind it!! I love this! I’m not guiding anything, and it’s all on the teacher to prioritize the needs. I wrote down so many book titles that I want to learn more about because of this!! #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A2: I need to work on "Keeping Ourselves Out of the Answers", I'm constantly working on not giving advice disguised as a question. Legging the learner talk freely and ensuring I don't lead them into a direction or answer. #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

A2: I think that I will struggle most with practice number 7 - I always want to be part of the solution - But I will need to make sure my teachers are self reliant so that they can work on their skills and acquire new skills in the future. #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

@EdTechSarahH A2: Several of these are going to be difficult for me but the welcoming environment is going to be the hardest. I tend to jump in because we have work to do and the welcoming is so foundational to all of the hard work that needs to be done. #FUSDBookStudy #FUSDChat #ImpactCycle

A1: I think PEERS goals are more effective because it is more student centered given that P in PEERS stands for Powerful - "Will this goal make a real difference in students' lives" pg.67 and that S does stand for Student-Focused which "Provides clear feedback... for Ss." pg.71
