På konferens i Paris om AI och dess betydelse för arbetsvillkor och sysselsättning. AI innebär enorma fördelar, inte minst för effektivitet, produktivitet och arbetskvalitet. Ny arbetsrättslig lagstiftning onödig. Genomförande av existerande regler och regelförenkling viktigast.

Debate at EESC plenary today about AI in working life. The comparison with the invention of the car was made and that safety rules were required. After the debate I met briefly with Commissioner Minzatu to point out that also enabling rules such as on infrastructure was necessary

Very interesting meeting with Prime Minister of Malta and several ministers of his cabinet, including the Finance Minister. QMV on tax matters unacceptable for Malta. Country specific circumstances must be recognized. Pillar 2 implementation shows difficulties. @employers_EESC

Two days in Stockholm with a delegation from @EU_EESC to learn more about labour market practicies and policies in Sweden. Today we had an interesting dialogue with @byggforetagen @Industriarb and @svenaringsliv on improving skills supply, matching and mobility.
