Our ED @therickbarry is fond of saying that faith without prayer is just philosophy, but James 2 reminds us that, just as importantly, prayer and benediction without practical application (that is, thoughts and prayers without action) are "without profit."

For those looking for ways to pray after this weekend's shooting in Texas, the @aachristcollab offered a quick set of prayer points. This is especially appropriate given the shooter's apparent racial motivation.
