The Pirates have acquired right-hander Brett de Geus from Toronto in exchange for cash considerations. de Geus was designated for assignment by Toronto last week. He went a combined 0-2 with a 7.15 ERA (11.1ip/9er) in 13 relief appearances in 2024 with Seattle, Miami, and Toronto.
