@UchePOkoye The first time I heard about Ojukwu was from our neighbor, a Yoruba woman in Lagos , I initially was having a disagreement with her son, then she said “ that’s how Ojukwu caused Igbos to be almost wiped out from earth during Biafra war”. I was shocked.

Our parents couldn't even discuss the Biafran war to us, they tried to erase it, talk more of discussing other people. Majority of Ndí Igbo got to know about the war on social media. The reason why Hausa was known was because we witnessed the religious crisis.
