@MarylandMudflap I will 100% read/listen to this. Audiobook tip: for authenticity, read it with a British accent that occasionally veers into Australian, but only when a character is really hungry. There should be a lot of hangry people. Maybe a MacGyver convention where the catering fell through
@JoshMalerman Now that I think about it, repugnant should be the title of a story that revolves around a Pug who relives the same day over and over again, eventually coming to the understanding it needs to save the world by changing something in the repetitive present
@MarylandMudflap The last time we got hibachi the cook got cocky with his egg tricks and flipped an egg into Kayla’s purse and it cracked when it hit her keys and got all over everything. I’ve never seen such shame in a person’s eyes. Or so much raw egg in a purse. Or any eggs in a purse.
I forgot all about this gem. I'm not sure it'll hold up, but I have high hopes it will reignite my childhood desire to build a bunch of mechanical death suit war machines for me and my friends and then battle each other out in the desert with them.
