@DaileySuzanne I am finding that students who have trouble leaving mom and coming to school are doing well at home, too. Taking away anxiety can free the mind to learn faster.

A1: Interestingly, I am finding that the students we worry about most at school, for the most part, are doing OK. It’s the kids that seem to do just fine at school are the ones struggling the most right now. I am focusing on those kids at this time #striveEDU

@DaileySuzanne @TaraMartinEDU #cbsdpd taking the time to listen and not react was huge. In our job we feel the need to fix all the problems and have all the answers. This book reminded me that I don’t always have to have the answers, just to be a compassionate and active listener.

@DaileySuzanne A4: Sometimes I just need alone/quiet to sit and think or decompress. At lunch I may just run out to my car for a few minutes. The walk outside with fresh air, some mindful breathing, and the quiet in my car are just enough to keep me going for the rest of the day. #cbsdpd

@DaileySuzanne A4: Positivity Power Hour with my aides at the end of each day. Pointing out the good in the day helps me stay positive and can change my perspective. I have the BEST team that lifts me up daily. #cbsdpd

@CB_MrsTorok @DaileySuzanne That is an awesome idea. We tried to do that once through the Sunshine Committee. Who organizes that for you guys?

@DaileySuzanne A4: I try and make it to all the monthly staff breakfasts. I always leave them feeling refreshed and more connected to my colleagues. I think these conversations about our lives outside of the classroom are what makes us so approachable to each other. #cbsdpd

@DaileySuzanne #cbsdpd A4 I really enjoy taking some time for myself by taking an early morning spin class or a calming yoga class after school. Also, learning to leave some issues at school and not taking them home with me.

@DaileySuzanne A3: My Cannonball is the new Motion Unit and MIF. I feel like I just got the hang of third grade math/science and now it is changing. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But, I am ready to dive back in!#cbsdpd

@CB_JCurran @DaileySuzanne That is a great idea, especially after 'doing' Daily 5 for a few years. Re-energizing those tasks is a great idea.

@DaileySuzanne A3: I am totally going to “CANNONBALL IN” to more independent enrichment projects for kiddos to explore topics they enjoy! I hope to implement these during Daily 5 so my students can be engaged & present their projects to their group and/or class! #cbsdpd
