Year 12 Careers Conference and Interview Day Well done to our suited and booted Year 12s, who have enjoyed two days of visiting speakers, networking with industry professionals and each sat a practice interview during our 6th form Careers Conference.

Year 12 have enjoyed a day of sightseeing in London, taking in some of the city’s most famous landmarks

Gold DofE – Day 3 🥾⛰️ An early start, the highest climb of the expedition completed, and a well-deserved early arrival at camp. The flat campsite and free showers have been a welcome reward after a challenging day. Just one more day to go, The finish line is in sight! 💪🏕️

Year 8 had a great day last week exploring different religious ideas 🌍📚 They learned about local Jewish communities, led a sustainability project, practised mindfulness, and explored religion in film. Lots of fantastic ideas and skills were shared throughout the day! 👏

🎉 Last day of term arrangements - July 17th Non-uniform, an early finish at 12:35pm, and plenty of fun activities raising money for Cancer Research UK and Cheshire Young Carers. 💙 Wristbands available on Parent Pay🎈☀️

Hot weather reminder: for the rest of this week, students may wear CHS PE kit Please bring a water bottle, wear sunscreen and take care in the sun. Parents and carers, please also remind students not to play in or near open water, including ponds, canals, rivers or lakes.

CHS Paris Trip 🇫🇷🐌 Students tried escargots this evening and the CHS record for the most snails eaten was smashed! A tough contest, with Seren on 31 and Carson taking the win with 34. Félicitations, Carson! We finished the evening with a brilliant PGL games tournament.

Paris Trip Update 🇫🇷 After a busy day exploring Château de Fontainebleau and shopping at Val d’Europe, students cooled off with a swim in the pool before spending the evening making crêpes. A lovely end to another brilliant day in France! 🥞☀️🇫🇷

Well done to our Year 12 Gold students on their practice expedition yesterday! They set a great pace to Camp 2, enjoyed dry and sunny weather, and arrived in good spirits after a strong day of navigation. The evening ended with pasta, camp chats and hot chocolates ☕️🏕️
