My least favorite of all the arguments after a hitter is incorrectly called out for taking a ball. "You can't let that pitch go." Sure you can. It's a ball. You shouldn't swing at balls.

I'm sure a world where you can't challenge blown balls and strike calls is the right way to live. I'm so sure. Games this good and that mean so much shouldn't end on a botched call like that. We all saw it. We all know the ump was big wrong. Fix the mistake and keep it moving.

Guarantee they’ll have ABS next time around. A shame such a great game had to end like that.
