A lot of people know you can jump over the fence (where the arrows are literally pointing btw: this is not a glitch)
but most people don't know you can partially walk along the wall with the visible struts
(notice how I don't lose my shield, I stay dry)

@Solenhal As it does an effective job at keeping the viewer's attention drawn to Tails' most important feature while not looking cramped or "over designed."

@Solenhal I will say the example you used is a pretty decent application of using brown markings as Tails' proportions seem to have been adjusted to make them fit without cramping the rest of the design. The tail being made fully brown is probably the best example of it being done well.

While that's true, a definite advantage of the Pokémon world is that statistically when an a-hole with too much money and power is showed to be actively dooming humanity, they get quickly beaten up by the closest available teenager.

I've said it before but realistically the Pokemon world would suck to live in. The only reason its most peoples preferred verse to live in is because its only ever portrayed in a positive light. World ending events happen on the daily here.
