Do you have a writing buddy? A little animal (or big one) that keeps you company, silently cheering you on. I have a hairless named Olivia. I assume she is cheering me on and not plotting my death.

It’s frustrating how sometimes writing can be like being up at the front of the line in a marathon, but other times it’s like walking through molasses.

@ChrystalMAuthor I have 13 tiny fish swimming around in a crystal bowl who threaten to eat their own offspring if I don't write enough. Terrifying but effective.

@ChrystalMAuthor Is Olivia a cat or a dog? Both have a hairless variety. My dog's bed was set up by my desk but sadly he crossed the rainbow bridge a little over a week ago (he was 14). Seeing pics of other people's pets makes me smile because I know how much they're treasured.
