@ElliottBlackwe3 I can sympathise. Its like that with my grandma. Every day is a struggle. For years we didn't have the best relationship and now all the responsibility to take care of her is on me and my mom.

Taking care of a Dad with dementia is hard, especially since there is no baseline of connection between us. I don't have happy memories to ground me when I am dealing with the worst of his personality magnified by the dementia. Today was a hard & exhausting day with him.
