@angrysteveworld @GBraggsJr23 Maybe I didn't watch the same games, but a lot of his extra time came from evading the defense that got past his O-line. They did a lot better than last year, but he was still n on the run quite a bit.

@GBraggsJr23 The one concerning aspect of the low completion % is he had a lot of time to throw. This OL did an outstanding job of limiting the pressure he faced. Translated: he struggled too often on the easier throws. WR's also dropped too many. Hopefully both will improve in 2026.

I think it's reasonable to assume there will be more consistency with more time in the offense and working with Ben Johnson. I also think you need to look at how many throw aways out of bounds Caleb had. If I had to guess, he's probably one of the top in the league. Caleb also led an offense with a high explosive rate and low turnover rate. So yes, they have to work on hitting the singles more consistently but I think there are also things you can point to that give added context to the lower completion percentage beyond inaccurate throws. Including drops by the receivers which also was probably in the upper half of the league if I had to guess. That being said, accuracy and consistency will be at the forefront of things to work on this offseason. Footwork, keeping your base solid, the timing of your drop connected with your reads and your routes, taking the check downs when they are there. Hitting the layups. All things that need to be worked on but things I believe are reasonable to suggest he will get better at. The stuff you can't teach is there.

@Betsypaige24 @ErikLambert1 The previous red zone run by Caleb, he got blasted by the guy OZ should have stepped in to block. OZ will need to have a better game in Minnesota or Burden will eat up even more of his reps.

@ErikLambert1 It worked out because Caleb got in, but if we hadn’t scored a TD, it would have looked bad, don’t you think? But the point is a good one. The rookies have proven they can be trusted - I don’t get why they are not being given a shot

@FredVHayek @adamhmason The defender did everything he could to aim the knee to the head. I've seen plenty of defenders dive over the qb because they know its a penalty. They're still testing the waters to see if Caleb gets more calls than Fields did. (Which would be any)

Bad officiating again: Right after the Bears got flagged for "roughing the passer" on a swarm sack, Caleb Williams gets kneed in the head with no call. He gave himself up and was kneed in the head. Don't listen to Greg Olson, intent is not important. Just like on Dart's sack.

Yes #CalebWilliams has some things to clean up & growth to be made… BUT the young man is competing his butt off & making all kinds of plays each week!!! As with ALL these 2nd yr QBs they are far from finished products, yet they are all making plays for their teams & should, at least, give fans hope that they might be “THAT” guy!!
