I just wonder why he has fought tooth and nail to stay in when it must be obvious to him that he will not serve a full term. Do injunctions become irrelevant when he leaves his post? I am suspecting that any injunction becomes null and void once they leave. How would this work?

Red Tractor and Halal: A Direct Contradiction:
Red Tractor requires an irreversible stun — the animal must not regain consciousness before death. This is a hard standard, confirmed in writing by email. @RedTractorFood @Tesco
Halal certification bodies, including the HFA, permit a reversible stun. Shazans states its animals are pre-stunned and HFA-certified. These are not the same standard.
A reversible stun fails Red Tractor's requirement.
A product cannot honestly carry both a Red Tractor welfare mark and a halal certification.
