As per the last PSC report on the number of civil servants there were 45,291 Kikuyus ie 21% of the public service. Second were 35,991 Kalenjins (16.7%). Luos are third with 25,382 while Luhyas are fourth with 25,382. 5th was Kisiis with 16,167.
