@gdechichi That's a nice idea. I literally had a similar thought, but for me it's swapping the c compiler for a custom scripting language.

I really wish I could clone myself just 3 clones total - one of us would work on the engine - the other on a new C compiler - the other would make games the 3 of us would be rich and happy

@StarlightSkyes I love to code through the context of video games. If it's code for gameplay, tooling, automation, etc... I'm all on board! I'm not a huge fan of programming something not related to games but I still appreciate the craft. For non game dev stuff, I'm slightly above neutral.

Honestly asking this question because I don't know. To programmers- do you love to code? Was this something learned over time or did you get into it right away? Do some only code because they need to but don't love it? Can you be good at code but feel neutral about it?
