SO THIS WOMAN hired a maid who miraculously turned her into a MILLIONAIRE but she's about to lose her marriage because of this.
The woman, her name is Adeola (real name withheld)
Adeola works in one of the big banks in Lagos. She has been doing so for 20 years. She shows up every single day to work. She does her work diligently but never ever got promoted at work. She has applied for every senior management position but never got it. Despite having the experience and results, only those who have the connections get such promotions (rhymes 😉), while others like her are left with nothing.
She doesn't have a choice than to show up everyday. She's got three children and all are in private schools; with her husband working as an accountant in a private law firm. They live a quite comfortable life but they are not exactly wealthy 🤑
She keeps hoping and praying that the management at her office will finally see her worth and promote her.
Back at home, she runs everything - from cleaning, to cooking, to taking care of the husband and her kids. Everything needed to be done. She does all these while maintaining her demanding banking job.
She's constantly exhausted because she is never have any luck with hiring a good maid because they are either stealing money from her purse or b+acting her children when she is at work (children that she doesn't joke with ). One even slept with the husband. Every one of them always comes with their own wahala.
She's been doing all these for three months now about to collapse from exhaustion.
But then, she received a good news. An agency her friend referred her to finally called her saying they have found a suitable maid for her. This maid her name is Rashida.
Adeola has seen too much shege in the hands of maids to expect anything good from Rashida. She just wants someone who won't steal from her, h+rt her children or sleep with her husband.
Someone who gets the job done without her having to lose her mind.
But Rashida shocks her. She exceeds every single expectation. She gets things done before she's told.
She is punctual and treats the children like her own. She doesn't act her she's doing her madam a favour by working there.
For the first time in months, Adeola can breathe.
SIX MONTHS LATER
Rashida (maid) has been so good to Adeola and her family and Adeola is thinking 🤔 what to do for her birthday 🎈 🎂.
Then she remembers, Rashida mentioned in her interview that she loves sewing and has been doing so for two years.
So Adeola decided to buy her a brand new sewing machine; it's just a simple machine. Nothing serious. Not too fancy and it doesn't cost much but it meant so much to Rashida.
The Lady literally starts crying when she saw it and that is when everything changes.
At first it's just small things, adjustments here and there, but then, she makes Adeola this stunning jacket.
Adeola wore it to work one day and suddenly everyone is staring at her. Her colleagues who barely acknowledges her began to pay attention. Lots of compliments here and there. Even senior managers who were taking notice.
This woman who has been invisible 🫥 in corporate meetings for years is suddenly the center of attention because of a jacket.
Then one colleague this lady from the western Union department pulls her aside and she is like : "Adeola where did you sew this? I need to make something exactly like this"
And without thinking much about it, Adeola tells her : " It's a relative who stays with me and she charges 100,000 per piece"
She is not even thinking about business at this point. She just said those words.

This reminds me of an opinion I hold.
International visits should be conducted in the traditional attire of your nation.
A diplomat from Japan should dress in a kimono, a Mongolian in a deel, I want an American diplomat dressed like one of the founding fathers.
I love a good suit, but the standardization of business attire has robbed a lot of color from the world.

The core argument of critical race theory is quite literally that any bad thing Blacks or other minorities do is white people's fault. The core argument of later-wave feminism is quite literally that any bad thing women do is men's fault.
I can point you to chapter and verse here, if you want - i.e., Kendi (2020: 12).
These are stupid and untenable ideologies.
