This is why people fail exam. I said no religion forbids polygamy. You’re telling me Christianity encourages monogamy. How does that negate my point? Encouraging monogamy does not mean forbidding polygamy. English is not difficult na. I can encourage you to go to Canada without forbidding you from going to the UK. Please go back to your secondary school English textbook and do comprehensive English again. While at it, use a dictionary to check the meaning of “FORBID.”

And Jewish custom at the time, no matter the number of wives you wanted to eventually marry, you had to marry them one at a time not all at once.
