BTS 광화문 공연,비난의 실체와 지적성실성 토요일밤 광화문은 달궈진 쇠붙이처럼 뜨거웠다. 하지만 작은 액정 너머의 세상은 익숙하면서도 이질적인 냉기로 가득하다. 공연이 시작되기 며칠 전부터 SNS에는 기이한 적대감이 일사불란하게 확대 재생산되고 있었다. 일개 가수의 공연 때문에 평생 한 번뿐인 예식을 망쳤다며 통곡하는 어느 신혼부부의 사연부터, 하루 매출을 통째로 날릴 것 같다는 편의점 사장의 절규까지. 약 200여 건의 기사가 '시민의 고통'이라는 이름으로 쏟아졌다. 하지만 축제가 끝나고 소음이 잦아든 지금,  그 많던 '유령 피해자'들의 후속 보도를 본 사람이 단 한 명이라도 있는가? 실제 현장의 팩트는 난리법석이던 기사와는 딴판이었다. 하객이 0명이라느니 잔치를 망쳤다느니 하는 자극적인 뉴스들이 무색하게, 당일 광화문 인근 예식장들을 대상으로 확인된 실제 분쟁이나 피해 사례는 단 한 건도 없었다. 장사를 망쳤다는 편의점 사장이나, 예상 인원이 부풀려진 탓에 물건이 처치 곤란이라며 김밥 일곱 줄을 공짜로 나눠주었다는 훈훈(?)한 기사들 역시 마찬가지다. 실상은 기사들 중 기자가 직접 발로 뛰어 인터뷰를 따낸 것은 전혀 없었다. 그저 커뮤니티에 떠도는 '카더라' 통신을 그대로 복사해 붙인 지적 나태함의 결과물이었을 뿐이다. 그토록 많은 기사가 쏟아졌음에도, 정작 피해를 입었다는 실체적 주인공이 후속 취재를 통해 증명된 적이 없다는 사실은 시사하는 바가 크다. 애초에 지하철이 정상 운행되는 서울 한복판에서 하객이 0명이라는 물리적 불가능을 기사화하는 그 정성이 그저 애처로울 뿐이다. 정작 경찰이 기동대 버스 12대를 동원해 예식장 앞까지 하객들을 실어 나르고, 청첩장만 있으면 통제 구역의 빗장을 열어주었던 '공권력의 서비스'는 그들의 문장에서 교묘하게 삭제되어 있었다. "길을 막아 잔치를 망쳤다"는 서사를 완성하기 위해, 국가가 제공한 세심한 행정 지원은 의도적으로 지워진 셈이다. 사실을 말하지 않는 것은 거짓을 말하는 것보다 훨씬 더 악질적이다. #BTS #광화문공연 #KPOP #악플
