Wish I had a way to set which locks can be used on an sql query and fail on planning if others are needed.
As an example this would fail a migration that requires a table lock I didn't allow.

There's always justification for adding new and more things, because they solve some problem. But does anyone look at their stack and does a maintenance budget, thinking if they can afford to introduce something new without taking something out?

@TheEduardoRFS Not debuggable per say, but one of the things I am building into my programming language is a tracing ui that allows you to generate a unit test reproducing a trace.

I've been wondering about applications that are debuggable by default, it seems like it would be a great language feature.

Not a universal experience. AI is still completely clueless in a bunch of scenarios.

I realized something else AI has changed about coding: you don't get stuck anymore. Programming used to be punctuated by episodes of extreme frustration, when a tricky bug ground things to a halt. That doesn't happen anymore.

What would make you comfortable auto-merging PRs? No human review. Someone mentioned reaching 100% test coverage but imo that is impossible
