Perplexity Comet, Openclaw, and Claude Code opened the door to agentic AI. Meta-Manus brings it to social media. Content will no longer compete for attention. Agents will compete for influence. That’s a different game entirely.

Argentina under Milei presents one of the more compelling asymmetric opportunities in emerging markets. Macro stabilization is tangible — fiscal surplus achieved, inflation collapsing sharply, and 2026 GDP growth projected between 4–6% with meaningful upside. Deregulation is advancing at scale, the RIGI regime is attractive, and flagship initiatives such as the OpenAI Stargate project and the forthcoming Citizenship-by-Investment program are creating genuine openings, particularly in Vaca Muerta energy, critical minerals, AI infrastructure, and the financial sector. Real challenges remain, however. Convincing a highly urbanized workforce based in Buenos Aires to relocate to remote provinces for mining and oil & gas projects is proving difficult. Equally critical is the ongoing effort to reshape the mindset of the younger generation after decades of Peronist influence — business leaders view this cultural battle as decisive for the next electoral cycle. Milei is widely regarded by the business community as “crazy but necessary.” Many hope the movement can evolve from disruption toward a more “estadista” phase to institutionalize the reforms. The direction of travel is clearly positive, but successful execution will be everything.

Step by step, we’re building an infrastructure that converts money and energy into information and then reconverts that information into new markets, signals, and leverage. Coinbase and Robinhood have made markets as accessible as any app on your phone. Hyperliquid is proving that high-performance derivatives can live entirely on-chain. Circle is redefining what a “dollar” is: programmable, global, always-on. Polymarket is shifting discourse from narratives to priced probabilities.

If Polymarket showed that information wants to be priced, and Kalshi showed that institutions want structured event exposure, Hyperliquid is what it looks like when that idea plugs into a high‑performance, 24/7 global derivatives venue...

Defense Secretary Hegseth’s decision to label Anthropic a “supply chain risk” and pressure Pentagon contractors to cut ties looks strategically misguided and disproportionate. It could take a complex policy debate about AI guardrails and collapse it into a blunt instrument, sending a chilling signal to serious AI companies that engaging in good‑faith discussion with government can be penalized rather than rewarded. If the U.S. wants a resilient, innovative, and secure AI ecosystem, it should be encouraging diverse, safety‑focused providers not narrowing the field through politically charged bans that ultimately weaken long‑term national security

My biggest piece of career advice: don’t play it safe. Playing it safe is the fastest way to stall your growth. Playing it safe keeps you in environments where you’re comfortable—but not challenged. You stop taking risks, stop learning, and eventually stop standing out. The people who grow fastest are the ones who take on roles a bit beyond their experience, pitch ideas before they’re fully ready, and learn by doing things that stretch them. That’s where real momentum happens.

Good news for the broader marina ecosystem on both sides of the Atlantic. D-Marin’s journey from Dogus to a potential €1bn exit in just a few years under CVC shows what focused capex, consolidation and professionalized operations can do in this niche infrastructure segment. ibinews.com/news/cvc-explo…

Perplexity just dropped a Deep Research upgrade that outbenches both OpenAI and Anthropic. And yet the market still treats them like a scrappy underdog. That’s a mistake. Yes, the Amazon lawsuit headlines make for easy dismissal. But strip away the noise and look at what’s actually happening: @AravSrinivas has assembled one of the sharpest teams in AI, Comet is pushing real technical boundaries, and they’re shipping at a pace that keeps forcing the giants to respond. This is the pattern we’ve seen before. The incumbents get comfortable defining the category. Then a focused, relentless competitor redefines the interface layer — and suddenly owns the user relationship. Google built search. Then Chrome became the gateway. Perplexity is making the same play for the AI era — not building the biggest model, but building the best experience on top of all of them.

BREAKING: Perplexity announces an advanced version of Deep Research, which beats both OpenAI and Anthropic in benchmarking tests. The AI race just keeps on accelerating.

Cerebras closed a Series H at $10B valuation. The story isn’t the round—it’s the CS-3 delivering inference 20x faster than GPUs at 1,800 tokens/sec. Training got the headlines. Inference is where economics break. Every ChatGPT query, every agent call—that’s inference. Cerebras built the fastest silicon for exactly that workload. Congrats @andrewdfeldman cerebras.ai/press-release/…

Macron confuses strategic autonomy with historical amnesia. Europe’s “story” for 80 years has been the transatlantic alliance - not vassalage, but the foundation of prosperity and security that allowed France to rebuild, integrate, and thrive. The real question isn’t whether Europe can “write its own story.” It’s whether Europe can afford the defense budgets, energy independence, and tech sovereignty that story requires - or if this is just rhetorical cover for avoiding hard spending choices. Strategic autonomy requires strategy. Right now, Europe has just a slogan

Macron wants Europe to “write its own story” but won’t fund its own defense, can’t scale its own tech champions, and relies on American LNG to keep the lights on. That’s not vassalage - that’s free-riding with a literary degree. The transatlantic alliance isn’t what holds Europe back. Lack of political will to make tough choices is. Europe doesn’t need new rhetoric. It needs 3% defense budgets, energy infrastructure, and the stomach to compete with China without American security guarantees. x.com/emmanuelmacron…

While everyone debates whether BCIs will ever leave the lab, Medtronic just made them standard surgical equipment. Precision Neuroscience’s partnership with Medtronic could be the moment brain-computer interfaces cross from experimental to institutional. Medtronic operates in 150+ countries with relationships in nearly every major hospital system. They don’t do science projects. They do scale. neurofounders.co/articles/preci…

Polymarket isn’t a prediction market anymore. It’s accidentally building the most important media company of the next decade. Here’s the thesis no one’s talking about: Polymarket is becoming a media powerhouse, and they might not even realize it yet. Think about what media companies actually do. They aggregate attention around events. They signal what matters. They build trust through track records. They monetize through a mix of audience and data. Polymarket does all of this but better. Traditional media tells you what might happen. Polymarket shows you what people with money on the line actually believe will happen. That’s not just news. That’s calibrated, accountable information with skin in the game. The 2024 election proved it. While news outlets hedged with “too close to call,” Polymarket’s odds were more accurate than virtually every poll. Traders became analysts. Markets became newsrooms.
