Many times I could have made easy 8-15% profit on a quick deal and I wasn't liquid enough at the time to take action or sell a house overnight. Hurts.

It’s one of those lessons some of us have learnt the hard way to never confuse net worth with actual usable power- liquid money!
You can be “rich” on paper; cars, assets, equity in a business and still be one bad month away from pressure because you’re not liquid.
