@Starlight_Bo At least you were fired. I was called by a colleague and informed that my name was not on the rota 😅😅😅

At least you quit. I was fired in a record 2 months. I didn't see patients fast enough. I didn't order enough tests. And, in the entire two months, I only admitted one patient who was having an MI. Oh, I was certainly not a profitable doctor😅😅😅

I’ve worked in public hospitals almost all my career till now. I tried private practice as a locum doctor in one of the private hospitals in Kenya. That didn’t last long. I was given targets to meet in-terms of admissions; investigations etc. You’d literally see a medic begging a patient to get admitted for a day or two; for FLU symptoms. I chose to correctly see and request only needed investigations. I only admitted deserving cases; and after a while I decided to discontinue my services on principle. Private hospitals in Kenya need an overhaul. Improving public hospitals is not just a mere necessity it’s of utmost importance! The public needs an alternative to these scrupulous private hospitals!

WSR describing the kids who were shot dead in parliament as 'victims of demonstrations' is a very curious turn of phrase. Also one which will not land well with the public.
WSR: "I am sure the police will have an explanation for every situation they were engaged in."
How do the police explain shooting a child 8-times? What possilbe justification could any police man have for that?
