A Greater Cincinnati Water Works repair crew installed Controlled Density Fill to repair the hole. A lighted sign and orange cones are helping with traffic control. Greater Cincinnati Water Works is experiencing a heavy workload due to the extreme temperatures. At this time, we are responding to 66 leaks and breaks. We have 11 water main breaks—4 of which are currently without water, and 8 remain in service but throttled. We are prioritizing breaks in areas with no water service, followed by communities with partial water service. Beginning Monday, 2/2/26, four crews will be on-duty and we will be operating in emergency mode with mandatory 12-hour shifts. This will allow us to increase our response capacity. Our crews are working diligently to address each issue as quickly and safely as possible. KENWOOD BREAK: A water main break occurred Wednesday in the 7700 block of Kenwood Road in Sycamore Township, near the Kenwood Towne Centre. A Greater Cincinnati Water Works crew will perform repairs beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday. CITY OF MASON: Greater Cincinnati Water Works is performing an emergency repair on a water main at the intersection of Mason Montgomery Road & Fields Ertel Road. Expect traffic limitations in all directions while crews are on-site. Work is expected to be completed and crews off the road by 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Bagging & mulching your fallen leaves can help prevent clogged storm drains during heavy rain, which reduces flooding risk. Cincinnati’s Stormwater Management Utility works to control stormwater runoff. If you see a public inlet clogged by leaves, report it by calling 311
