Your money is gone, or what's the problem with Go To Market strategies?
Want to understand the issue and think about what's coming next?
In the last 5 months, we've seen a lot of poor launches, with drops of 50% to 80% from their ATH
The most popular launch strategy right now is to inflate FDV, distribute an airdrop with low circulation, give 2/3 of the supply to VCs and the team, and wait for unlocks to begin.
That is, we only see 1/7 of the total supply of new altcoins. This means that over the next 3 years, selling pressure on these tokens will only increase.

How long will the point strategy be relevant?
After all, projects are interested in a real user base, which will not only use the product, but also buy the token from the market.

The problem is more than real, Binance released a report on the topic "Low Float & High FDV: How Did We Get Here?"
The report notes that projects should:
- Stop blowing soap bubbles and first create an MVP of the product, with a working business model, and only then move on to the token release.
- Think through the tokenomics more carefully, stop creating "Low Float & High FDV", as the further fate becomes lamentable.
- Stop raising funds at high valuations that have no justification for this valuation in the future.
— Is it good or bad that this is happening?
—This is a step in our evolution where we need to improve ourselves and create a more effective model.
So, we should see some changes in GTM strategies in the near future and a new meta.
—Is this the only big problem right now?
— No.
There is another one, I'll write about it in the next post.
What do you think, what's the issue?
