@CineRanker Peak detailing by CineRanker
How do y'all notice this shiz😭
English

@CineRanker They could have shot the movie in various different locations.
man look at other big franchise movies DUNE,LOR, and even Game of thrones
Their background looks so real, natural
Expectations are high, a lot of room improvement considering the release date.
English

Also one more thing on the CGI/VFX part
Look at this scene… looks very artificial
I mean this scene could have shot in real forest right?
#Ramayana

English

@sahilisdamn I understand bhai but creatures itne polished nhi dikhne chaiye… there is some roughness needed to make then more look real… aap Gollum ka hi example lelo from Lord of the Rings… a CGI character imagined from books but bilkul polished nhi lagta hai
English

@CineRanker The thing you're asking about creatures
Bhai wo jab tum animation vfx banaoge wo aise hi dikhenge creatures
Valmiki Ramayana mein sirf creatures ka description h waha koi photo nhi bani jo unhe dekh ke bana denge
Creatures are all imagination 90s ki shrupankha nhi banayenge
English

#Ramayana “Rama” Teaser is not what we had expected from a “4000 Crore film”
The CGI creatures are very 😬😬
Hans Zimmer & Rahman Vocals cooked 🔥
Hope they work on the VFX and CGI man otherwise this is not going to be a “spectacle” as was promised
English

@sahilisdamn Bhai 1st thing … aap bina gaali ke bhi baat rakh skte ho
2nd thing… bhai this was not above par VFX… DNEG is known for their brilliant work… they have won many oscars for that… the potential to do much better is very high…
English

@CineRanker Ab aur kya chahiye laude
It was way above par VFX
Avengers ke naam pe tumhe kuch bhi paros do fir toh tatti bhi kha loge
हिन्दी

@GameChef252210 The issue is not sure why but the visuals are either too polished or the color grading looks is off.
Like look at this scene…
I know they are still working on the final product but DNEG has done outstanding things for Hollywood… Namit hyped it too much I guess?

English

@CineRanker Tbh a bit harsh, it seems quite good. Yes creature designs are a bit meh but they do have quite some time and they might be working on it or take constructive criticism. Not sure about the real budget but this quality is definitely a first in Indian cinema. Ranbir delivers & 💥💥
English

@CineRanker Asurs mentioned in Ramayana epic were distinct and much different from what is seen in western media. These asurs seemed from god of war
English

One thing that genuinely looks good in #Ramayana Teaser is emotional plot of Father-Son coming out as tearjerker ❤️
English

Scary if true… 😓

Votes in 6 seconds, 4% cast after midnight: Major allegations over Andhra polls Several 'unusual' voting patterns in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh assembly elections were flagged at a press conference in Delhi. Economist Parakala Prabhakar claimed that around 4.16% of the total votes were cast between 11.45 pm and 2 am in Andhra, which was won by the NDA. Story by @AishPaliwal - intdy.in/vz3adk

Your $17 IMAX ticket is why Marvel might move the next Avengers movie up by a full week. IMAX has less than 1% of all movie screens on Earth. Last year, that tiny handful of screens took in $1.28 billion and grabbed up to 25 cents of every dollar people spent on opening weekends for big movies.
Avengers Doomsday and Dune Part Three are both supposed to open December 18. Same day. Warner Bros. got there first, claiming the date back in June 2024. Disney shoved Doomsday onto the same date a year later. Probably figured they’d work it out.
They didn’t. Dune Part Three was filmed with actual IMAX cameras, the ones built specifically for that giant screen. So IMAX gave Dune every single American screen for three straight weeks starting December 18. Confirmed at an investor meeting in February. Doomsday gets nothing. First time an Avengers movie has ever been shut out of IMAX in the US.
Then last week, Jumanji quietly moved off December 11 to Christmas Day. December 11 is now wide open. Sources say Marvel execs are talking about sliding Doomsday into that empty slot.
I ran the math using Cinelytic, a company that predicts box office numbers. Their model says IMAX boosts Dune 3’s total earnings by about 12.9%, because the movie was literally built for the format. Doomsday’s IMAX boost comes out to just 3.5%. But when Endgame opened in 2019, IMAX alone brought in $91.5 million that weekend. Even a small slice of that is serious money.
December 11 solves the whole thing. Doomsday opens with no other giant movie competing for attention. It gets a full week on IMAX before Dune’s lock kicks in on the 18th. And Avengers movies make almost all their money in the first few days. Endgame did $357 million in the US in three days. One week of IMAX would probably capture most of the premium ticket money the film was ever going to see from the format.
Disney says they’re not worried either way. An insider told TheWrap they keep pointing to Barbie, which crossed $1 billion without ever touching a single IMAX screen. The studio is pushing Dolby Cinema, 4DX (those rumbling seats), and over 300 specialty screen types worldwide. Greenlight Analytics surveys show 50% of audiences plan to see Doomsday in theaters compared to 38% for Dune.
The sacrifice: giving up “Dunesday.” Both Robert Downey Jr. and Timothee Chalamet have been riding that double-feature meme for months of free press. Avatar launched on December 18. So did The Force Awakens. Spider-Man: No Way Home opened in the same holiday window and made close to $2 billion worldwide.
IMAX hit $410 million in company revenue last year and is projecting $1.4 billion in global ticket sales for 2026. Two billion-dollar franchises are rearranging their entire release calendars around fewer than 1,800 screens.

Marvel Studios is reportedly in discussions to move ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ to December 11th. The studio is looking to secure a weekend of IMAX screens. (Source: youtu.be/pXsNZ51s-r8?si…)
