Cinema P3 Pro Camera update with Apple Log released today. Includes HLG View Assist for Apple Log in Creative Mode and more... blackburnapps.com/cinemap3/
So, I did a video recently lamenting/hoping that @Moment would create new lenses for the latest generation smartphones…
Well, looks like they have. 🎥📱⬇️

@CinemaP3camera I got a crazy idea for a feature request! Not sure if it can be done but could you add the ability to “change” the aperture of the iPhone? Kinda like cinematic mode? Maybe utilize the lidar sensor in supported iPhones?
@RichardTaylorTV When using the Back Triple Camera, selecting the 0.5x, 1x and 3x buttons will change the camera/lens and not use digital zoom. To change camera without digitally zooming, set the Zoom Speed to fast in "Tools" menu.
@CinemaP3camera@Apple OK. I don't want to use digital zoom.
I only want to switch directly between the 4 cams/lenses on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

@RichardTaylorTV@Apple Use the zoom button on the right hand side. When you are using the triple camera, it will automatically change cameras when you change zoom. The 0.5x, 1x, 3x buttons will set the zoom required to change the camera. You can also use 2 finger pinch gestire to zoom in/out.
@CinemaP3camera@Apple The Zoom lens and all lens choices disappear once you hit record.
I don't see how to switch lenses while recording. What am I missing?
@RichardTaylorTV@Apple This has been possible for a while. Select “Back Triple Camera” or the one that looks like a zoom lens (from the Camera Quick Select button). You can’t use manual exposure (iOS limitation).
@CinemaP3camera Good update but I also need to be able to switch cams/lenses while in record mode.
The native @Apple Cam app does a really good job of this.
@BullsFan1976 It can be done. Not so good for color grading as it stores 25% less luma data compared to HLG (at 1000 nits display referred) - but if you want to upload straight to youtube might be useful.
@CinemaP3camera Yes the ability to record in HDR10 as opposed to Dolby vision, I often end up converting to it when I upload HDR to YouTube, be nice to skip a step lol
