My findings after 2 years of retirement:
1. Daily bathing is optional
2. Every day is Saturday
3. 4 rotating outfits that stay in your laundry room are all you need.
4. You roam nonchalantly through grocery stores
5. All of the corporate speak slowly disappears
6. Your soul will begin to self repair after decades of becoming hardened by business travel, spreadsheets & morning huddles on Zoom
7. Thousands of dollars in business attire will disappear from your closet
8. You’ll no longer give two shits about watches
9. You’ll find that everything you need is generally within 5 square miles and become very reluctant to go beyond that bubble
10. You’ll talk to strangers about gas prices & which butcher has the best meats
11. Noon naps are glorious
12. You no longer exist on societal schedules
13. You’ll forget about 80% of the people you worked with for 30+ years
14. You’ll forget all of your keyboard shortcuts and some of the home row

@emilyebaum @PaulMeloan @acaseofthegolf1 @ISCOChamp We could and should Michael is loved by the club. I’m sure a chunk of what was donated to him on Venmo, might have come from Toledo, and the club specifically….

@CintronRob @PaulMeloan @acaseofthegolf1 @ISCOChamp My old club did a raffle for a nice bag and the ticket $ went to our pro who made it into a big tournament. Maybe Brandywine could do something similar?

Michael Balcar Monday Q’d into the @ISCOChamp and he needs our help.
Balcar is the asst pro at Brandywine in Toledo Ohio, works full-time, and spends most of the money he earns chasing his dream.
Most days he works 7-2 and then practices till dark or works until close and then goes to the Simulators and practices well into the night.
Last week he made the nearly 5 hour drive to the ISCO pre-q. After getting thru he drove back home worked each day.
On Sunday after work he drove the 5 hours back to Louisville for the Monday Q, shot 66 and got thru.
Only one problem. Balcar has $250 in his account.
He spends everything he makes on chasing his dream and now that hes here he needs our support.
His venmo is below. Send him $5, $10, or $100. And lets watch him make the cut this week.
Thanks in advance for any help.

@PaulMeloan @acaseofthegolf1 @ISCOChamp As a Brandywine member, I’m not embarrassed but surprised. Yes I’m sure we will help and would have earlier had we all known. Michael is the best guy, and he’s my teacher.
English

@acaseofthegolf1 @ISCOChamp If im a Brandywine member im embarrassed to read this. When did clubs stop helping their own? Michael making it into this event is good for everyone there.

@WarlordDilley It’s a good tune for beginning bands. They’re learning to play together accurately … yes not exciting, but they are playing, not imitating.
