Picture this. It's Friday evening. You worked hard this week. Meetings. Messages. Long hours. Always responding. Now, what if you ask what actually moved forward? If you pause, that pause is the real answer. I want to ask you something honest. Which one is actually you this week? 👇 A - I work 60hr+. All productive. The grind is the only way. B - I work smart. Output over hours, and I still hit my personal goals. C - I work a lot. But honestly, I don't know if it's productive. Comment: A, B, or C. 👇 Here's my unpopular part. I don't have a morning routine. No time blocks. No deep work calendar. No "protected hours." And I'm more productive than ever. Which does NOT mean I work more than I’ve ever done. I used to put in way more hours in 2020. Most influencers share morning routine and perfect structured days. Workout, cold shower, deep work, sleep early... The problem with that is the minute something actually matters like a deadline, a client, an urgent problem, that routine disappears. So why build your entire identity around it? I separate manager time from builder time. Meetings get bulked into one day or buckets when I can to favorize deep work time. Because context switching kills output and I know that firsthand. I start my day with some early deep work. That’s just a personal preference. I love to be fully alone fixing issues or catching up with any progress that happened as I was asleep (worldwide team). Then I train. Run. Climb. (one of the three) Come back and work again. Not because I have balance or focus on work-life balance. I focus on hitting goals in every area of my life. Training isn't separate from the work. It's what makes the work possible. I need to feel good to work, which means I need to keep learning, training, and enjoying time with my close ones. Working 60+ hours week simply won’t cut it for me and my priorities. And that’s totally fine. I get things done when I’m mentally and physically invested. What do you think about this?
