No hate at all towards any of the talents in the picture. Most of them are my friends, and I genuinely wish them the best. My question is about the talent selection process itself. Imm struggling to understand some of the decisions. For example, some people who havent been active in the League of Legends scene for quite some time were selected, while others who have been consistently involved throughout the year were placed in different roles. Someone whos been primarily working in another game for years is now casting League of Legends at EWC. Nothing makes sense. This isnt about saying anyone doesnt deserve the opportunity. Its about having a selection process that feels fair to everyone and doesnt look unfair. If you are calling it the Esports World Cup, then the talent selection should reflect that same world class standard. I know it seems like they dont care much about the Arabic broadcast, but they should. Again, this is directed at EWC process, not the individuals. I respect everyone involved, and I hope they all do amazing job.

I feel you walla, i was the desk host for the last 2 years and i was simply not contacted this year. I have a feeling that me replying here reduces my chances for next year as well but i was never one to shy away from the truth. Good luck to the boys though im sure they will do great ♥️

@Cipherlol It's the same story across games: lack of specialization. In Apex they get a CoD commentator because they hire/recommend their buddies, not the best fit. Last time I tweeted this, an EWC official asked me for names just to comfort me, then completely ghosted me.

Im not the only one saying this. I heard the same concerns from a lot of talents in the scene. The situation already feels doomed because I see the same thing repeating. Maybe speaking up changes some stuff (it wont) but 1% is better than nothing.

🚨 Al Ahli 🇸🇦 have withdrawn from the Arabian League after DRG 🇸🇦 backed out of the merger agreement. The deal was that DRG would cover two months of salaries for the former players and staff, while Al Ahli would handle the remaining obligations. Technically, DRG 🇸🇦 now owns the league slot, but they reportedly don’t have the budget to build a roster. As a result, we’re most likely going to see pyramids4 🇪🇬 replace them. That leaves Howling 🇰🇷 , Kobs 🇩🇿 , Akashi 🇲🇦 , Xicor 🇹🇳 , and Patch 🇰🇷 all LFT at a critical point in the season, with most teams having already finalized their rosters. DRG still haven’t paid the players from last split, and they don’t seem to intend to. So are they going to get kicked like FOG 🇸🇦 did last year, or are they going to receive special treatment like Vanguard did with GNG 🇹🇳

@Cipherlol Look at the bright side brother at least u didnt get an invitation Meanwhile me who was chosen as a coach and searched for syrian players and then did tryouts/scrims and much more over 2 months and at the end they say “oh syria is not allowed to play in enc league of legends”🙃

My Take on ENC Lebanon: A lot of people asked me why I did not play for Lebanon. Despite being part of the League of Legends scene since 2017, mainly competing in the Middle East, winning many titles, and gaining years of experience, I was never contacted or considered for any role. which is honestly weird to me. I tried contacting several people but received no response. With my experience and knowledge of most of the players, coaches, and managers involved in the tournament, I am sure that I could have helped Team Lebanon in many ways. I was disappointed not to be considered because I would have done everything possible to compete and contribute, especially when its a national competition. We also had plenty of time to prepare properly. I genuinely wanted the opportunity to represent my country, but it is what it is. Congratulations to 🇩🇿 and 🇹🇳. Hard luck 🇱🇧.
