New early summer menu starts today. Vignarola, Guinea fowl with crayfish, Spanakopita and hay-roasted spuds with secreto pork and romesco sauce.....

@kate_gorringe @MarinaOLoughlin Strange that we have "survived" in Bath with the competition of 400 other eating places for the past 12 years and several hipster restaurants in Bristol heralded by London and local journalists have gone under in less than three years. Wallfish, Birch and Wellbourne? Grrrr

@MarinaOLoughlin Circus benefits from being half decent in a culinary desert. It would go bust in Bristol. I have heard great things about Sotto Sotto though.

@allanjenkins21 I do agree. We've used her cheeses for the past 35 years and never had a duff one. She's all the more admirable that she kept below the radar and never became a "celeb"!
