@_X3NN I also really like sports photography for practicing more dynamic energetic poses + the way muscles work , since those are usually taken while a person is in motion

@_X3NN My fave thing to do is take screenshots of ppl in the backgrounds of documentaries and such ! Its also good cause you get like. Real normal ppl with different appearances and body types and cultures rather than posed models

i like drawing people casually in their natural states so pinterest has become useless to me because every single reference is so Posed like no one is existing like this. does this make any sense

@woomyume So they could have intended for the designs to have an in-universe purpose, which was not considered / deemed irrelevant by the marketers, who were like ok new = good, we’ll use this as a selling point (again, we never rlly know for sure what happens behind the scenes)

@woomyume I completely agree that they are not in any way at all better and suffer from the current trend of overdesigning (although the designs were probably in the works before 2021) but again u do gotta consider that usually the creators have no actual say over marketing

i decided to point out everything i didnt really like about the new design & try my hand at a redesign w/ the concept art as reference
