@SenJeffMerkley I really hope we are including & considering the impact of COVID & isolation on our 2.3 million US incarcerated citizens, neighbors, loved ones. THEY have been drastically disenfranchised even MORE & denied access to these basic supports that we identify as necessary for humans.

Many folks are struggling with their mental health, especially after this period of increased social isolation. No one should have to go through this alone.

@ORCorrections @OregonGovBrown MAYbe its time to reconsider letting people out of our prisons I dont understand how evacuating/displacing over 1000 AICs into already crowded & stressed facilities during a pandemic is a wise decision This isnt how to treat our citizens Its not ok

Is there a reason @ORCorrections is allowing staff to work w/o masks? Introducing #COVID19 into a correctional facility seems extremely irresponsible & results in terror & inhumane conditions for AICs. DO SOMETHING @OregonGovBrown

This was sent to me from a friend who works at Trader Joe. This is NOT social distancing! We need a better way for people to safely get supplies while also protecting the STAFF who has to come in contact with ALL of these people! @OregonGovBrown @tedwheeler

Please remember as a nation we have over 2 million incarcerated citizens and loved ones. Plus all of the staff that is responsible for their care. #COVID19 can and will be devastating to this population once it gets into a facility. EVERY human needs to be considered at this time
