Firefighters are responding to a residential structure fire near W 47th St & S Talman Ave in Chicago after reports of heavy flames and smoke.
A staging area has been established as multiple crews work the scene, with police assisting with traffic control nearby. Video from the area shows an active fire, though the cause has not yet been determined.

BREAKING | Two Arrested After LA Raid Seizes Up to $10 Million in Counterfeit Goods.
Two people were arrested after Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies executed early-morning raids near 6th and Main Streets in Downtown LA on Thursday. Investigators say they seized between $5 million and $10 million worth of alleged counterfeit merchandise, including handbags, clothing, Hello Kitty toys, and other goods.
Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests or charges are possible. Anyone with information is urged to contact LASD Major Crimes Bureau investigators.

Hantavirus Cruise Outbreak 🚨 All passengers and a majority of the crew have disembarked from the cruise ship. The MV Hondius is now sailing back to the Netherlands, where it will be cleaned and disinfected. WHO said that as of Tuesday, a total of 11 cases and three deaths have been reported. Nine of these 11 cases are confirmed, while two are probable. All of the cases are among passengers or crew on the ship. The Ontario Ministry of Health announced an additional seven people classified as low-risk for transmissible contact have been asked to isolate. Three people in the province deemed "high-risk" are already under isolation and monitoring. The three high-risk Canadians were previously on the MV Hondius, along with sharing a flight with one of the fatal cases.
