Today, I remember and honour this brave Biafran soldier, whose image and story were used for propaganda during a World Igbo Congress speech by Gaius Chibueze (alias Bitcoin Chief). Today, I honour his memory and affirm that he was not a terrorist, as he was portrayed. He was a courageous young man who was forced to fight for his survival and for his people during a difficult period in history. He is one of the many reasons we endured and survived the war against Biafra. We are proud of him. We love him. ❤️❤️

The incitement to hatred against Director Uche Mefor, particularly by the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is a source of concern for the Group of Eminent Experts, his words raise serious concerns in light of the present conflict where sectarian discrimination have been on the rise. IPOB has ceased to be a human rights compliant organisation and is now, to all intents and purposes, an illegal one. Nnamdi Kanu has shifted IPOB away from being an organisation which refuses to resort to violence. The consequences of his actions are, in effect, to turn IPOB into a criminal enterprise. That has implications for all IPOB members. IPOB had a USP. People were proud to associate not only with the Biafran cause, but with the organisation. That is no longer the case. His decision to broadcast incitement to violence made IPOB legal team and consultant to resigned. His broadcasts has put IPOB in an impossible situation. IPOB cannot be described as peaceful, human rights compliant and non-violent. The proscription of IPOB is now lawful. Governments, FCDO, US, AI, HRW, ICC, and the EU EEAS cannot meet Nnamdi Kanu and/or IPOB again. My fellow Biafrans, please note that self-defence is available to Biafrans. Exhorting people to kill people is not self-defence. Biafra Nation shall lead the non-violent protest movement. A commitment to non-violence makes Biafra Nation irresistible. Please, commit to ensuring Biafra happens through peaceful and human rights compliant mean. Show your support for Biafra by supporting Biafra Nation. Kanu's tactics have put back the Biafran cause. Loud complainers reveal their feelings and intentions, giving you a chance to understand, appease, or prepare for them. But the quiet sufferer? Yes oo Mazi, the narrative has shifted. MNK really messed up by following that advice. Before this, even with the DOS still in charge we’d hear “MNK SAY” and people listened. But after MNK dissolved the DOS and brought in unknown faces, he shot himself in the foot. The authority he once had—when “MNK SAY” carried weight even without DOS interference—is gone. Now his words no longer land the same, and he’s the one losing relevance. It’s sad he did this to himself
