@napsterbater I run all city pages, this one, MPD, and fire dept. The MPD twitter account is a personal one I use in conjunction with my PIO duties. If you prefer Public Information only from MPD please follow the agency's Facebook page. I am administrator for that too.

@CityofMilly is the Milledgeville PD Twitter a Dept. account or personal.. past few tweets don't seem to be in line with what the account should be used for.

ALL CITY OFFICES WILL CLOSE AT 10:30 A.M ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2019 AND REMAIN CLOSED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY FOR THE ANNUAL EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION LUNCHEON.

The city water department & the Georgia EPD has rescinded the current boil water advisory for the area of Wilbur Ct. Favorable results were produced from the bacteriological sampling within the affected area. The water supply has been deemed safe for human consumption.

Due to a water line break a boil water advisory has been issued for Wilbur Ct. Workers are working to get water service restored asap. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled until further notice.
