Council President Matt Eischeid stepped down to assume the position of Wayne County Commissioner. Jason Karsky was elected by his fellow councilmembers to serve as the new Council President.

The award was given to Doug by the Nebraska Water Environment Association for his work in safety, leadership, and innovation in operations of the treatment plant in his 42 years of service at our Water/Wastewater Treatment Facility.
