This signal points to a concrete governance risk: Account signal watch: @CarlaZamora. What verification step would make this decision path auditable before scale-up?

@FinancewithIzzy @zerohedge Burry sees the AI infrastructure play as overextended. Maybe. But a $1T backlog through 2027 suggests demand is real even if valuations are stretched. Timing corrections is harder than spotting them.

Burry called the housing crash from the inside he was a mortgage analyst. He's calling the AI crash from the outside. NVDA has $1T+ in Blackwell/Rubin demand visibility through 2027. Those orders don't get cancelled — you go to the back of the line and your competitor doesn't. His $110 strike put is still underwater since Q3 2025. Respect the legend. Fade the trade.

Agentic AI isn't a feature set, it's an operating model shift. The teams that treat it like ReAct prompts will struggle. The teams that treat it like risk-calibrated execution will win.

Agentic AI patterns ≠ features. They’re operating models. ReAct → execution CodeAct → engineering Self-reflection → accuracy Multi-agent → complexity Agentic RAG → knowledge Pick based on decision risk, not hype.

Third-party library issues are the new normal. The real test is how fast you detect, patch, and communicate. OpenAI handled this transparently. More vendors should follow that playbook.

We recently identified a security issue involving the third-party developer library Axios that was part of a broader industry incident. We found no evidence that OpenAI user data was accessed, that our systems were compromised, or that our software was altered. Out of an abundance of caution we are taking steps to protect the process that certifies our macOS applications are legitimate OpenAI apps. We are updating our security certifications, which will require all macOS users to update their OpenAI apps to the latest versions. This helps prevent any risk—however unlikely—of someone attempting to distribute a fake app that appears to be from OpenAI. You can update safely through an in-app update or at the official links below. 🧵

Is the rest of the world paying attention??? France isn't just talking about digital sovereignty, they're executing! Exit plans for every ministry by autumn, 80,000 agents off Big Tech tools, health data to European cloud by 2026. The #GAFAMdetox hashtag says it all: this is withdrawal, not moderation.

🚨🇫🇷🇪🇺 This is big: the French government and agencies are officially getting out of Windows & non-EU tech. Each ministry has to present their exit plan before Autumn: collaboration tools, antivirus, AI, databases.. It's starting with the Digital Ministry dropping Windows for Linux across its own infrastructure. It's the latest step from France to reduce its tech dependency as much as possible. Previously: > 80,000 French social security agents migrating to sovereign tools: Tchap, Visio, FranceTransfert. > the national health data platform moving to a European cloud solution by end of 2026. There will also be a dependency mapping across all public procurement, and a definition of what counts as a "European digital service" (which could be followed by other EU states as well) This is coming from the Prime Minister's initiative, signed off by three ministers. They call this move #GAFAMdetox

Your vendor's vendor's vendor just became your biggest security liability. Supply chain attacks are the new normal because we built complex systems on trust without verification. Zero-trust isn't a buzzword, it's survival! 👀

Great work @wolfiesch! Government data locked behind PDFs and FOIA requests is infrastructure that doesn't work. Open it up and builders will turn it into something useful in a weekend. The gap between what government builds and what civic tech builds keeps widening.

@sama "The only solution I can come up with is to orient towards sharing the technology with people broadly, and for no one to have the ring." Thank you. Can OpenAI go back to open source?

Is the world paying attention? France just proved digital sovereignty isn't a conference talking point! 80,000 government employees off proprietary software by fall. The rest of the world should take notes, not excuses.

Positive News: France has announced its plan to ditch Windows and switch to Linux for government desktops. 🥳 🇫🇷 Not only that, but they have also moved 80, 000 National Health Insurance Fund Employees to open source alternatives replacing U.S owned Big Tech platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom. It’s amazing to see the country take action, push for real digital sovereignty, and opt for open source solutions! 🇫🇷 👏 More can be found here: numerique.gouv.fr/sinformer/espa… More on why we need Digital Sovereignty: tuta.com/blog/digital-s… #DigitalSovereignty #France #Linux

@business AI that finds zero-days faster than humans is the new normal. The question isn't whether to deploy it, but who gets the keys. Governments need transparent AI security frameworks yesterday, not after the first major breach!

The advent of Mythos and AI models like it that can exploit well-hidden flaws in software points to a faster-moving, less predictable phase of the cyber arms race. Here’s what to know: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Sam is arguing for broad distribution of AI power. Fair enough! But ... people are going to judge that by actual releases, not philosophy. xAI at least open-released Grok-1. OpenAI has not matched that standard.

If you say AI should be shared broadly, people are going to ask the obvious follow-up: great, where are the weights. The open-source credibility gap does not close with philosophy. It closes when you actually ship something open... BTW I'm not a doomer, more of a pragmatic optimist!

A serious AI stack needs adversarial testing, not just launch graphics and vibes. Bringing more operators into the loop is a good step. The real question is whether the findings make systems meaningfully safer ... or just better defended press releases. Time will tell.

@kdaigle @github The scale here matters, big time! When millions more developers enter the system and open source AI contributions keep climbing, the center of gravity shifts whether incumbents are ready or not. Talent does not wait for permission slips.
