Driving down the high street in my Van earlier and a young lady who was on her phone with headphones in walked straight infront of me to cross the road, not looking left or right just so fixated on her phone. Luckily I was only going 15mph, so I stopped a few feet before her. But if someone with slightly slower reactions or didn’t see her, it could have easily been a terrible accident. I leant out the window and told her to be more careful when crossing the road as it could have ended up with her having a trip to hospital or worse! She apologised, I drove off. Phones should stay in pockets when crossing roads. Can be so dangerous, especially when headphones are on aswell. I bet there has been a lot of accidents of recent with people with their head buried in their phones. I think it should be taught at schools about the safety of crossing roads, don’t think it is done any more. Bosh❤️
