Gamedev now is making games for a bunch of people who don't play games to call you out on social media for either being a Luddite and not wanting to use generative AI or trying to cancel you because doing a bilinear filter resize in Photoshop is basically just like using AI

You can tell who actually played Pokémon for the gameplay vs just the Pokémon themselves by the replies. Turn-based Pokémon carried this franchise for decades. The day it disappears is the day Pokémon stops being Pokémon sorry
