Dev Diwali or Dev Deepawali or Diwali of Gods, is a spiritually significant festival celebrated with deep devotion especially in Varanasi, comes 15 days after Diwali on the full moon night in the lunisolar month of Kartik. This day is also known and observed as Kartik Purnima.
Surya Worship in India:
Surya worship or Surya Puja is dedicated to Lord Surya in Hinduism. The Sun or Surya is also called Aaditya and Bhaskara. Scriptures say one can worship the Sun God for good and healthy life; “Arogyam Baskarath Icheth”.

Dev Bhumi (Uttrakhand) Darshan:During our Dev Bhumi (Uttrakhand) Darshan, I recall great experience at Kausani and then at Jageshwar Dham. Our stay at Anasakti Ashram a beautiful and peaceful place in Kausani is famous for the stay of Mahatma Gandhi.

I had a enjoyable trip to Darjeeling, nestled in the eastern reaches of India, a captivating gem amidst the expansive Himalayan panorama, really a Himalayan wonderland. Renowned for its awe-inspiring scenery, flourishing tea estates in the hill station
On my return journey from Lakshman Mandir, visited Valley of Flowers, situated at 14,100 ft. above sea level, a beautiful place, full of different flowers all around. The route includes a steep descent from Lakshman Mandir, perfectly displays the abundance of colourful flowers .
LAKSHMAN MANDIR YATRA: During my Char Dham Yatra of Dev Bhumi, which includes Kidarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamnotri, I had a rare chance of visiting lesser known Lakshman Mandir adjacent to Gurdwara Hemkund Sahib. This is an important pilgrimage site of Hindus and Sikhs.
