The Deep got a fate worse than death, and I love it. He's got real superhuman strength and durability, yet he's absolutely terrified of some fish. What the hell? That contrast cracks me up every time. A powerful supe reduced to a pathetic, insecure mess who can't even handle the ocean anymore. It's hilarious and so damn fitting. I genuinely think he deserves every bit of the endless humiliation. Peak comedy.
