@Tracy3513amumu Hiya! That's a really good question - I am actually looking at intelligence (e.g. crystallised intelligence and fluid reasoning) now in relationship to MBDM and we're not seeing too strong connections. I would be happy to chat about this if you want?

Congrats! This is a very impressive work and gives me useful guidance in an ongoing project involved with both children and the two-step task! Also thanks for the tutorial you made for this task! By the way, do you think IQ score matters in the development study using this task?

This paper investigates sophisticated decision-making strategies in children using reinforcement learning and shows that the ability to use a transition structure of the world to make decisions for reward emerges earlier than previously thought (12/12🧵)

For adults, we found that they displayed both model-based decision-making and successful metacontrol. The computational findings were mirrored in the behavioral results, indicating that both methods managed to capture model-based decision-making. (11/12🧵)
