wanted to give my 2 cents about apex pros because it still annoys me to this day: it is so true that apex pros have a huge part in killing the comp scene, there’s obviously tons of reasons but my main one that’s bothered me forever is how people treated 3rd party tournament organizers like ESA (esports arena) and plenty of the other ones as someone who got their start in ESA, i couldn’t believe how ungrateful people were when ESA would simply ask people streaming to put a delay ONCE A WEEK for like 4 hours because they wanted some of the views on their main stream so they could get some of their money back on their investment and pros would whine and bitch like “it hurts my stream though!!!” like yeah no duh nobody wants to host apex tournies apex mfs are so unbearable to interact with
