@ruzkin 2.5 times is wild to me, I'll occasionally bump up to 1.5 if the narrator has a particularly slow cadence but there's no way I could focus that fast.

Audiobooks are books and listening to audiobooks is reading but I simply don't see the value in crushing an audiobook a day on 2.5x speed. That's white noise. How do you engage? Reflect? Exhale and contemplate a character beat, or ponder the construction of a perfect sentence?

This is my hill as well. The modern use of hiss is not about the s sound, it is about infusing the words with the venom of a snake.

Will I be here for season 3? Of course, if season 3 is as good as most of season 2 I'll enjoy it a whole lot. But if the show could figure out how to do endings before the last battle please :P

Positives: Everything with the forsaken except Ishy at the end. Lan and Moraines bond. Mat although I do worry it means they are dropping a big book aspect. Perrin and the White cloaks. I have meh to bad feelings about the rest.

Season 2 was way better than season 1, but dang they still can't nail the endings. Felt really rushed and choppy, some changes I like and others felt bad from a base story telling level. Let Rand sword fight you cowards. #TheWheelOfTime
