On the 4th of December in 1865, Edith Cavell was born. 153 years later on her birthday, we remember her legacy as a British nurse, brave leader, and wartime hero. We continue to honour her values by caring for nursing and midwifery staff today. Happy birthday Edith! 🎂

The first Fellowship is being awarded to @ClareCable, former QNIS Chief Executive and Nurse Director, who reintroduced the Queen’s Nurse title in Scotland. In October, Clare left QNIS to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Burdett Trust for Nursing. #QNISawards
