@ClareCvj I use the Notability app which has drawing features and multiple color coded pens. It also has a really nice audio function that syncs up to the text. Best $5 I ever spent in grad school

@shookademia @OpenAcademics Thanks - I’ve already added some bits to my diary for the year that I am not willing to loose so that’s a positive start - appreciate the reinforcement

@ClareCvj @OpenAcademics Know what you’re not willing to give up (ex: family time, sleep, etc). Write it down and stick to it. Also, listen to your body- if you’re tired, sleep. If you’re hungry, eat. There’s such a culture of overworking and you need to care for your body first.

@ClareCvj @OpenAcademics Congratulations! My biggest peace and advice is take care of your health and nurture your soul first. There will always be a mountain of work waiting, another research project, another paper to read... but none of that matters if you're burnt out or unwell.

@ClareCvj Woohoo 👏 well done........ book yourself in for a few eye tests throughout....my eye sight went very weird from reading papers and screen time...I developed a great twitch 🤣 also the wine by the case top tip is essential.... if you're feeling overwhelmed tell someone ASAP 👍
