We loved having Clark Bosher in chapel yesterday. His message from Jeremiah 29 challenged our students to live on a higher standard, even in a culture that often pulls the other way. He spoke clearly about the reality of eternity, but also the real hope we have in Christ. In a season of college life filled with decisions and direction, it was a powerful reminder that there is genuine peace in knowing you are right with God. Grateful for the truth he shared and the encouragement he brought to chapel!

In our Foyer we now have pictures from November 21, 2024 when I had the honor to pray for the opening of the 118th session of Congress. This was the first session after Mr. Donald J Trump, had been elected president for the second time. Congressman Roger Williams, a member of the Willow Park Baptist Church, was responsible for me being able to pray that day. A representative from CSPAN said 7.7 million heard the prayer. I've been thinking a lot lately about my boys and the men God is shaping them to become. One phrase has been our motto: Go to grow. Boys don't become men by accident. They become men when responsibility meets expectation. When a young man steps into new responsibility, he learns that effort matters. That integrity costs something. That showing up isn't optional anymore. Maturity is formed when no one is reminding you, nudging you, or rescuing you. And as a dad, that's both hard... and holy. My prayer for my boys isn't that life would be easy. It's that they would be faithful.

If you perish, you never lived!

Be sober. Be vigilant.

Grateful for The Promise of Christmas being at Willow Park Baptist Church. 13,000 in attendance and many saved. To God be the glory!
