I ask that you pray for me. I have,for weeks, been in talks with my VA psychiatrist, to stop drinking. Whatever the DNA code is for moderation, I don’t possess it. The doc has prescribed me naltrexone. I don’t know if it will work, but I never want to feel like I have felt today, again. I’m scared to death of this journey, but I took the first steps by asking for help and changing my X handle. I’m still going to crack jokes and make you laugh, but the time has come.

Thought of the day: we often hear how we are burdening our children and grandchildren with debt. The fact is that exorbitant government debt has an impact on the here and now. Borrowing crowds out private investment, potentially driving up interest rates and making capital more scarce for the private sector. Even worse, printing money causes inflation, the most insidious, destructive tax of all. Yes, our kids suffer, but so do we.
