Excl: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be interested in a shock Manchester United return as caretaker head coach #mufc

@Altgthr @AndyMitten It’s as bad as I can remember. We just can’t beat anyone.
English

@Clarkey_1987 @AndyMitten That had Watford away (Ole) vibes to it. Should be sent packing after that performance.
English

@Altgthr @AndyMitten Dan. He’s got to go. Our results are relegation level. We’re in serious serious trouble .
English

@AndyMitten Not having this, Andy. It’s miles off good enough.
Gave my tickets today to my boys who left at 5am this morning and won’t get home until 10pm tonight to watch that tosh.
1 shot on target second half from open play and a fortune spent.
Unacceptable!!
English

@Altgthr @redgrose7 Agree mate. Think in a back 4 and with a player like cunha taking up the positions he was against city, the final ball being delivered by a specialist forward with the correct skill set ends in a completely different outcome.
English

@Clarkey_1987 @redgrose7 Yep it was poor, no question and it’s something he has to improve on, but for me he is a left back asked to act as a winger. I just think he is being asked to do something he isn’t best at.
English

@Altgthr @redgrose7 Spot on. I agree with all that but dorgu has to, as an international player be good enough to deliver a ball in to the box in an area where it gives his teams mates an opportunity to attack the ball. The quality level of delivery was as poor as you would see in Sunday league
English

It’s been a poor strategy when it comes to recruitment that’s for sure. The players we have bought are a blend of ready made quality and high potential, but the positions haven’t been well considered and that’s been a big issue.
We needed a CM and an experienced keeper and striker. Didn’t do any of that. Wing backs also really important and again, didn’t or couldn’t do those perhaps due to funds. So when you consider the amount required to spend, as I’ve always said, this manager was always a risk to meet his needs.
English

@Altgthr Would have been ancelotti for me. Not possible now though.
English

@Altgthr Always want us to win and the manager keep his job but at some point if you don’t win games you will loose your job. Hes not helped by a rigid system and so many individual errors throughout the team. Dorgu wastes almost every opportunity he gets. He’s had a mare today
English

I don’t think the manager loses his job, even if we lose to Chelsea next week, but if it’s 11pts or less after 11 games (and that’s the Nov international break) then he is finished.
I have to say this rigidity and system is terrible. I hate it and for me this squad, whilst so/so, is better than 2 wins in 12.
English

@Altgthr Gotta get Bruno higher up-mainoo centre mid and move amad over to wing back. Mazraoui looks so rusty
English

@Altgthr I felt the latter. Wears his heart in his sleeve that fella
English

@Clarkey_1987 It’s either that he has seen a few players just aren’t up to it or he is saying the players don’t back him and he is going after Burnley.
English

@Altgthr The old saying. Not even angry anymore. Just really disappointed. Nothing surprises me anymore
English

Difficult to put into words how another basic goalkeeper mistake yet again costs him. But overall a very good performance against a team fancied for the title. Very lucky they come away with anything. However have to win next week. Lose that and the narrative changes

@Altgthr Cannot get to the end of the window without a top level midfielder. Issue is next season baleba will be more difficult to get as scouse, city and Arsenal etc will be looking I’m sure along with Wharton on the list of top clubs
English

@StretfordPaddck This comment I read literally weeks ago. It’s just been brought back to the surface following Napoli rumours again.
English

@NeilTheKid @Altgthr He wasn’t we know that, but he would have gone for not far off that if we would have sold him. His value was peak at that point .
English

@Clarkey_1987 @Altgthr Nowhere near a £100m player. This is the problem. He's been built up to be something he isn't. Couple of years ago Barcelona were rumoured to be in the mix for £80m. I'd have snatched their hands off.
It's not his fault by the way. He's just not the player people think he is.
English

Wait a minute. I am fairly sure all players take around 25% wage cut for no European competition so whilst his salary is an obstacle, I’d assume that £325k a week is actually 240k ish a week.

💣🚨🚨 BREAKING: Manchester United are preparing for the possibility of sending Marcus Rashford on loan for the entire 25/26 season. Sources close to the player say he’s unwilling to take a wage cut on his £325k-a-week salary — limiting his potential suitors. He’s under contract until 2028. [via @samuelluckhurst, MEN]
English

@Altgthr Agree 100%, this has the ability to make a season where we all hoped it couldn’t any get worse a real possibility. Fernandes being 31 In a few months it’s realistic the club will move him on if they can get 100+ mill and wages off the books as we aren’t challenging for 3-5 years
English

Selling Bruno when you finish 4th, 5th, 6th or even 7th, whilst frustrating, could make some sense, but when you finish 15th, it’s a lot harder to not only attract the players you want to replace him but you also need to make sure your recruitment team get it right immediately.
There is no evidence as of yet that we have ‘best in class’ when it comes to recruitment and the chances of them spending that money correctly, well the jury is out.
To lose not only Bruno this summer, but if you also take Garnacho and look at the stats he and Bruno have accumulated across the last two seasons, well you can make your own mind up about what may happen next.
It’s a massive risk !!!
